The Celtics have been in a bit of a slump, and everyone's trying to figure out what's going wrong. Just a couple of weeks ago, the team was unstoppable. Now, they've dropped six of their last eight,
including losses to Golden State, New York, and Charlotte. What happened to their chemistry, toughness,
and indomitable spirit? I know. Really, I'm surprised no one else has figured it out.
A couple of weeks ago, it became apparent that the Boston Celtics were seriously considering adding Stephon Marbury to their roster, assuming that New York eventually buys him out of his contract. Then, the Celtics fell apart. Of course, every half-intelligent NBA fan knows that Stephon Marbury's attitude and stench can crappify any team in a matter of minutes, but, in this case, his presence wasn't even necessary. Just the mere mention of acquiring Stephon Marbury was enough to destroy the spirit of the defending champs. Apparently, he's just like Lord Voldemort. If the Celtics' people would have avoided uttering his name, Marbury's evil would have never plagued Boston. Imagine what kind of damage he'll cause if he actually gets a chance to play with them!
